Most landscape and revegetation failures are decided before anything is planted. Levels, drainage, compaction and growing medium are what a finished site is actually built on, and none of them can be fixed later without taking the surface off again.

Excavation and Site Preparation

Our site works team handles excavation, clearing, subgrade preparation, levels and landscape construction — with the plant range to work anything from a residential section to a corridor.

On sites left compacted by earthworks plant, preparation usually means ripping and decompaction before anything else. Planting or seeding into a compacted pan looks fine for a season and then fails, and it is the single most common reason we are called back to someone else’s work.

Soil, Material Supply and Install

We supply and place the materials a project needs: topsoil and engineered soil media, aggregate, geotextile products, concrete, timber and more. Working with an established supplier network means specification and delivery are coordinated with the works rather than managed separately.

Where growing medium matters — tree pits, rain gardens, sports fields, revegetation on poor substrate — we specify to the outcome rather than ordering whatever topsoil is nearest. Soil testing is available where the ground warrants it.
