Red Hills- StrataWeb geocells installation

The purpose of using geocells is to create slope erosion protection. The unique 3D geo synthetic design solution is used along steep slopes to increase the resisting forces.

The textured surface of the cell walls as well as the perforation helps holding the infill material within the cell. This infill material can then be planted or grassed to create an effective and aesthetically pleasing stabilised slope.

Evergreen Landcare installed 3000m2 of the 400mm deep geocell on the Red Hill Project to batters with a gradient of 1:1 and 1:2.
