Waitikiri School, Christchurch

 

Evergreen Landcare provided landscaping for the new Waitikiri School.

This involved spraying out the existing vegetation on the paddocks, cultivating, importing topsoil for the sports field, playground areas.

Tree pits were excavated for 45 litre trees, along with gardens. Topsoil blended with compost mulch to provide good growing soil structure and fertility in the Canterbury climate. Bark mulch was placed around the plants and garden areas.
